Ubisoft released the Beyond Good & Evil game for PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube game consoles in November 2003. Now, the sci-fi themed third-person action-adventure game returns for its twentieth anniversary as Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition. The game will be officially released on June 25 for many platforms.
Like the original game, the new version follows a reporter/adventurer named Jade who tries to stop an alien invasion of her home with the help of some colorful characters. Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition will feature remastered 4K graphics and will be able to run at up to 60 FPS. Auto-save and cross-save support will also be available on all platforms, and there will be a new in-game treasure hunt to check out. The game will feature a new behind-the-scenes gallery featuring unreleased artwork, videos, and more from the game’s development.
The game will be published on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store. It will also be released for PS4 and PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series X, and the Switch console. Additionally, the game will also be accessible via NVIDIA GeForce NOW and Amazon Luna cloud gaming services.
On the other hand, there is still no word from Beyond Good & Evil 2, which was announced in 2017.
