This week, Doki Doki Literature Club Plus and Lost Castle are offered to players for free by Epic Games Store. These two games have replaced last week’s Dors: Paradox.
Doki Doki Literature Club Plus, worth 25 TL, appears as a successful psychological horror game. The popular free visual novel follows the protagonist as he joins a high school literature club and meets its seemingly normal members. There are also multiple paths and endings to unlock in the game.
Developer Team Salvato describes the game as follows: “You play as the main character who reluctantly joins the Literature Club on a romantic quest. With every poem you write and every choice you make, you will impress your platonic love and reveal the horrors of school romance. Are you strong enough to crack the code of the dating simulation and achieve the perfect ending?”
This version, the Premium Plus edition of the game, comes with additional features missing from the original free version, such as six new side stories, individual music tracks, and higher resolution artwork.
Lost Castle, worth 76 TL, is a fantastic RPG beat’em up game that offers random dungeons that you can dive into. The game supports cooperative play for up to four players.
Developer Hunter Studio describes the game: “In its glory days, Harwood Castle was the heart of a happy land ruled by wise and virtuous nobles. But those days are long gone now. Disaster has befallen these lands, and evil spells have corrupted the castle and everything surrounding it. Demons have taken this rotten place under their rule, and even the power of the empire has been thwarted by their dark army… and corruption is slowly spreading. Harwood Castle is lost.”
Doki Doki Literature Club Plus and Lost Castle can be downloaded for free from Epic Games Store until February 15 at 19:00. Next week, Dakar Desert Rally will replace these two games.
