Facebook presented a Friends tab update that aims to re -meet users with the content of people they know. This new feature, which was first introduced in the United States (USA) and Canada, is a special flow of content of friends without algorithmic recommendations.
Facebook is implementing the updated friends tab
Updated Friends tab will view friends’ stories, reels, posts, birthdays and friendship requests. The tab had previously kept their friendship requests and “people you can recognize” suggestions. On the other hand, it has recently turned into a carefully prepared flow that has only displayed content from confirmed relationships.
According to Facebook’s announcement, this change will be the first of the “OG” (original) Facebook experience that will be available throughout the year. The company acknowledges that Facebook has expanded to include things like groups, video and marketplace.
The New Friends tab will be accessible by users from the navigation bar of the main stream or the saved ones. For easy access, users will also be able to secure the tab by clicking on profile photos, going to “Settings and Privacy ve, then to“ Settings ”, then to the“ tab bar, and by personalizing and fixing the friends tab there.
