Copilot for Microsoft 365 has announced that it will now offer priority access to OpenAI’s most powerful large language model, GPT-4 Turbo. Let us remind you that the company previously added GPT-4 Turbo support to the free version of Copilot. OpenAI first announced GPT-4 Turbo in November 2023. GPT-4 Turbo has a large context window of 128K. This means that a text prompt can be up to 300 pages long if necessary.
This model change will apply to both the web version and the business version, which adds core data from your own business and others in your business. Microsoft has also added that it has now removed the limits on the number of chats and turns you can write to Copilot for Microsoft 365.
In addition to removing chat and spin limits with GPT-4 Turbo, Microsoft announced that starting in May, it will increase the number of daily rendering supports for Microsoft Designer, the AI art creator in Copilot for Microsoft 365. Supports were limited to 15 per day, but this number will be increased to 100 per day in May.
Microsoft says all these new additions and improvements will be released first on the Copilot website, then in the Copilot mobile apps, and then in the Windows and Edge web browser.
