The iPad Air series received a slight upgrade earlier this year with new 11- and 13-inch models featuring the Apple M2 chip, but both models are still equipped with Liquid Retina IPS LCD displays. A new rumor from South Korea claims that the Air series will come with an OLED display in 2026.
According to TheElec, Samsung Display is touted as the main supplier of the next-generation iPad Air displays, and these displays will be of the single-stack OLED variety, not the OLED found on the latest iPad Pros.
