Samsung Electronics has announced that it is the official partner of Netflix’s highly anticipated interactive pop-up experience called ‘Squid Game: The Trials’. This popular culture phenomenon, supported by Samsung’s high-tech Smart TVs and Galaxy smartphones, attracts attention by aiming to reach the highest level of interactive gaming experience. Fans of the ‘Squid Game’ series will now be able to join this unique adventure and engage in a breathtaking fight in games inspired by the series. ‘Squid Game: The Trials’, which will start in Los Angeles, will expand to a number of cities globally starting from the beginning of the year.

‘Squid Game: The Trials’ uses Samsung’s most advanced TVs and Galaxy mobile devices to deliver users a unique experience with each game. Participants will progress through interactive areas equipped with Samsung’s pioneering models Neo QLED 8K, 4K and The Frame, which increase the excitement of games and create an immersive atmosphere.

Samsung’s Neo QLED 8K TV welcomes visitors by presenting the trailer of the ‘Squid Game: The Challenge’ series. This trailer is processed in real time by the 8K Neural Quantum Processor, providing an awe-inspiring visual experience with 8K resolution. Thus, in this space equipped with Neo QLED 8K, participants suddenly find themselves in the vibrant and detailed environment of the ‘Squid Game’ universe.
Visitors can discover entirely new experiences with Samsung’s latest mobile innovations, the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy S23 Ultra. By integrating the prominent features of these devices with the memorable scenes of the ‘Squid Game’ series, Samsung offers an experience that pushes the boundaries of the latest technology.

In the “Red Light, Green Light” game, the most notable of the ‘Squid Game’ games, the exciting moments of the game can be recorded with Hyperlapse video and high quality images using the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Gaming gets a new lease on Galaxy S23 Ultra’s stunning ultrawide display
Thanks to the sensitivity of the S Pen, players can cut Korean candies into accurate pieces in a pressure-sensitive and impressive way in the “Digital Dalgona Challenge” game. This gaming experience takes place on the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s striking ultrawide display. Players can also see where they rank against their opponents on the leaderboard. S Pen allows users to take photos during the game and share these photos.
Photos taken in both games can be quickly shared thanks to the Quick Share feature, and participants can download these photos directly to their devices via e-mail. A FlexCam Selfie Kiosk will also be available at the event venue, allowing visitors to take hands-free photos from different angles using the Galaxy Z Flip5’s FlexCam camera and download and frame these photos.
After the end of the games, participants will be able to go to the VIP room and watch the ongoing competitions on The Frame’s 85-inch wide screen. Equipped with the latest Matte Screen technology, Lifestyle TV provides an immersive and chilling viewing experience reminiscent of Front Man’s headquarters in the TV series ‘Squid Game’.
