Samsung is bringing Bluetooth Auracast technology to more Galaxy smartphones and tablets. This feature allows you to create an audio stream via Bluetooth and simultaneously share your device’s media with nearby compatible devices.
Auracast has already been available on some Samsung smart TV models and the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro since last year. You can create audio streams on supported TVs to watch movies or listen to the same music with multiple Buds headphones.
In addition, Samsung recently added Auracast support to Galaxy S24 devices with One UI 6.1 version.
With its latest announcement, the company gives more devices the ability to start Bluetooth audio broadcasting. Samsung has added Auracast support for the Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and Tab S9 series with One UI 6.1 or above.
If you are using a device with One UI version 6.1, you can start an audio broadcast using Settings > Bluetooth > Three-dot icon > Auracast.
Samsung is also expanding its 360 Audio feature to support select smart TV models such as Samsung Neo QLED 8K (QN900D, QN800D), Neo QLED 4K (QN95D, QN90D, QN87D, QN85D).
