Samsung and SK Hynix are working together to obtain LPDDR6 RAM certification as soon as possible. According to industry experts, Korean companies will be ready to start production of memory chips after receiving a standard approval by JEDEC.
Samsung wants to make new memory chips ready for Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 phones that will be introduced in the coming days. LPDDR6 is expected to offer higher speed and power efficiency compared to the current LPDDR5 standard.
