It was announced that Dropbox has launched a beta that adds real-time co-authoring support to its service with Microsoft 365 applications. Dropbox notes that co-authoring support with Microsoft 356 applications is one of the company’s most requested features.
Dropbox explains: “Co-Authoring allows multiple team members to collaboratively edit Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files natively in Dropbox on desktop, web, and mobile. You can also see in real time who is on the document and where they are editing, so everyone is working on the latest version. “Now teams can put an end to conflicting copies.”
In addition to Microsoft 365 co-authoring, Dropbox is also adding beta support to its Replay service for media files stored on Microsoft OneDrive. Replay allows business employees to watch media files prepared for their company, provide notes on them, and give final approval to these files. This new feature will allow all media files stored on OneDrive to be transferred directly to Dropbox Replay.
Both shared authorization and Replay features are now available for all Dropbox customers. On the other hand, in order to use it, it is necessary to sign up for the beta on this website.
