Samsung has struggled with power efficiency and performance on the last few Exynos platforms, but it’s taken a big step forward with this year’s chips. And if a new rumor is anything to go by, it could surpass Qualcomm’s flagship chip in 2025.
Known for its leaks PandaFlashProIn a post published on the X platform, he stated that the Exynos 2500 chip will be better than its rival Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in terms of both power efficiency and raw performance.
This year’s Exynos 2400 performed similarly to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, but it looks like Samsung found more room for improvement than its American rival. While the Exynos 2500 will be built on 3 nm process technology, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will stick to 4 nm, thus giving an advantage to the Korean manufacturer.
