Turn 10 Studios announced that it will offer multiplayer changes and content for the Forza Motorsport game, which received negative criticism due to its errors and controversial carpg progression system.
Forza Motorsport is trying to recover with new content
Over the next few months, Forza Motorsport will get more tracks and features like Cruise Mode, Endurance Races, Car Proximity Radar, Forza GT car section changes, and Logitech TrueForce support. Additionally, it is underlined that significant changes have been made on the multiplayer side.
The new Forza Motorsport update will bring changes and improvements to safety ratings and matchmaking, so players will be better matched based on their safety ratings. The latter will now use 20 new races instead of 10 to determine a person’s safety rating. Additionally, crashes and safety regulation penalties will cause the safety rating to drop faster. The studio is also planning to tweak and make corrections to some rule penalties so that players behind are not penalized. Minor road disruptions will result in smaller penalties and unavoidable contacts will no longer be penalized.
AI improvements are also on the way for Forza Motorsport. The next update will fix unnecessary AI braking when passing cars, going over a hill, and on straights. Future updates will also introduce better AI behavior regarding slowing down after being passed, driving alongside the player, and more. Finally, Turn 10 is working on multi-class endurance races, which are expected to come to Motorsport soon.
