The new ROG STRIX XG259QNS targets high-end gamers who want to maximize their in-game performance. The gaming monitor has a 24.5-inch Fast IPS panel with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080.
As we mentioned at the beginning, the XG259QNS comes with a massive 380 Hz refresh rate, which makes fast visuals smooth and easy to notice. Moreover, the monitor has a response time of 0.3 ms. Other panel features include VESA DisplayHDR 400 support, 110% sRGB color gamut and 1000:1 contrast ratio.
The monitor also has other features to enhance the gaming experience. Chief among these is AMD FreeSync Premium technology, which helps reduce the effect of screen tearing. Moreover, the monitor also includes ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync (ELMB SYNC) feature, which “eliminates ghosting and tearing for sharp gaming visuals at high frame rates.”
On the onboard connectivity side, ROG STRIX XG259QNS has 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.0 ports, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A hub and a headphone jack. The monitor also comes with a dedicated stand with extensive height, tilt and swivel adjustment options.
